Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a garden tour in the southern part of the island of Bali. GWK has the meaning, namely "Garuda the vehicle of Wisnu". Garden tours is located in tanjung Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, about 40 kilometers south of Denpasar, capital of Bali province. In this cultural garden area, planned to be established a landmark or mascot of the island of gods, such as the existence of the national monument in Jakarta, the giant statue of Lord Wisnu who was riding a tunggangannya, Garuda, as high as 12 metres.

Area of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is located at an altitude of 146 metres above ground level or 263 meters above sea level.
In the area there is also a statue of Garuda is right behind the Plaza of Wisnu is Garuda Plaza where the statue of 18 meters tall Garuda temporarily. At the moment, Garuda Plaza became the focal point of a large hallway pillars carved limestone that covers more than 4,000 square metres of spacious open space i.e. Lotus Pond. The limestone pillars and colossal statues, monumental Lotus Pond Garuda made a very exotic spaces. With a capacity of a room capable of accommodating up to 7000 people, Lotus Pond has gained a good reputation as the perfect place to hold large events and international.
There is also a statue of Wisnu's hand which is part of the statue of Wisnu. This is one step closer to completing a full statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana. The work was placed temporarily in the area Of Water.
Recreation venue located at GWK is
- Wisnu Plaza
Wisnu is the highest ground in the area where we are while GWK is the most important part of the statue of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue of Wisnu.
- The Lotus Pond
Lotus Pond is the largest outdoor area at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) and Garden culture, most likely, in Bali. Thus, the Lotus Pond is a great place and just to hold a large scale outdoor event.
- Street Theater
Street Theater is the starting point and the end of a visit to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. Here we can find many shops and restaurants in one place and where all the celebrations going on.
- Indraloka Garden
The Park is named after Indra's paradise Indraloka because panoramic point of view. Indraloka Garden is one of my most favorite places in the Garuda Wisnu Kencana small medium to have a party, gathering and wedding ceremonies. We could see views of Bali from the Indraloka Garden.
- Amphitheatre
Amphitheatre is a place outdoors to special performances with a well-designed acoustic. Every afternoon You can watch the famous Kecak dance and free which is about 6: 30 pm until 7.30 pm. Even this Kecak dance can be working in close collaboration with the other regional dances.
- Tirta Agung
Tirta Agung is the perfect outdoor space for medium-sized events. You can also visit the statue of Vishnu's Hands, part of the statue of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana, located nearby.
